Materials Needed: Paper and writing tool and/or digital platform. Post-Tour Activity: Learn civic action and discourse by writing your own proposal and then debating your platform with your class! KHS provides the lesson plan for this interactive experience. Start your civic journey here! Tour the Old State Capitol and learn the basics of Kentucky’s government. Questions: Submit them to YOUR THEME! Your registration is not guaranteed until you receive an email confirmation of your reservation. Booking Requests: Scheduling is based on a first-come, first-served basis.When scheduling, make sure the “point of contact” information is for that designated representative who will be representing your group on the day of your visit. School Representatives: KHS requires each group to designate a representative from your group, school, or booking agency.Scheduling: All visits must be scheduled no less than three weeks in advance.Platform: Virtual Conferencing (Zoom, Google Hangout/Classroom, Teams, etc.).Payment: Due one week before the session.Cost: $75 per session, up to 100 participants ( scholarships available).
